Description

Test of new gift: software plugin Pianissimo, with this piano sound as VSTi. Edit from 2 recorded takes of live play on my midi keyboard. Latency in Renoise with this plugin was set at 5ms on a 2x1.8GHz/1GB RAM. A value smaller than 20 msec is required to make the sound undefinably later to the ear than live play. 5 msec plays comfortable. I like playing this more than playing a real piano, which is heavier to play, the keys rest down on sustain pedal, a lot more undesired side-noise.. The composition is improvised play on C (and Cm) Eb7 (and in the intro Dm7).
